South Korea should closely work with the incoming Biden administration to make progress on denuclearizing North Korea, former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said on Tuesday.
Albright, who served as secretary of state under former U.S. President Bill Clinton, said in a video call with South Korea’s unification minister Lee In-young that she “learned a lot” from former South Korean President Kim Dae-jung’s pro-engagement North Korea policy (called the “Sunshine Policy”).
