North Korea reports 8,594 ‘suspected’ COVID-19 cases, zero confirmed infections

The DPRK reports its coronavirus numbers to the World Health Organization on a semi-regular basis

North Korea has recorded more than 8,500 “suspected” cases of COVID-19 to date but still claims to have zero cases of COVID-19, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

On Tuesday, WHO said that North Korea reported 8,594 “suspected” cases of the virus as of Nov. 19. It’s unclear how many of these individuals were tested for the coronavirus or quarantined.
