Lawyer condemns police raid into North Korea friendship society leaders’ homes

Police investigating two NZ-DPRK Society leaders; lawyer claims it’s because they sent $2,000 to North Korea’s Red Cross

New Zealand police raided the homes of two men who lead the NZ-DPRK Society on Monday as part of an investigation into alleged violations of U.N. sanctions against North Korea.

The two individuals under investigation are a former humanitarian worker named Peter Wilson, secretary at the NZ-DPRK Society, and an unnamed Presbyterian minister.
