The North Korean leader reviews progress at apartment construction site

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un made a rare visit to the Komdok area of South Hamgyong province, which was recently hit by flooding and typhoons, state media showed on Wednesday. Inspecting houses there that were reportedly built "half a century ago," Kim criticized the country's national planning institutions for being "defeatist" and full of "complaints," urging officials to come up with a better local construction plan going forward.
