Two top North Korean officials, including the newly-appointed premier of the Cabinet, visited various flood-damaged areas in recent days, state media reported on Aug. 19. The reports come alongside a growing campaign praising leader Kim Jong Un for his attention to North Korean counties affected by heavy rains.
The inspection is Premier Kim Tok Hun's first since joining the exclusive Presidium (Standing Committee) of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) Central Committee Political Bureau last week.
