North Korean authorities will cut off all inter-Korean communication lines at noon, official state media said on Tuesday morning, amid growing tensions between Pyongyang and Seoul.

The development reportedly came in an instruction ordered by top officials Kim Yo Jong and Kim Yong Chol, as part of a package of directives relating to the threatened shut-down of the inter-Korean liaison office at Kaesong.
