North Korea, Nigeria agree to expand cooperation in public health

Nigerian health minister says country has a "desire to learn" from the DPRK

North Korea and Nigeria signed a bilateral agreement on public health last week, recent announcements from both governments revealed.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on June 17 after several years of deliberation — including a sideline meeting at the May 2018 World Health Assembly in Geneva — and was announced by North Korean state media on June 22.
