Kim Jong Un appears “alive and well” following three-week absence, Pompeo says

Secretary of State declines to comment on North Korean leader's health or recent whereabouts, however

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un looked "alive and well" at his first public appearance in 21 days over the weekend, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Sunday.

The comments come after Kim Jong Un's sudden reappearance in state media on Saturday at a fertilizer factory ribbon cutting event, following weeks of speculation and rumors suggesting that he may be severely ill or even dead.
