Several British nationals who are no longer eligible for the United States Visa Waiver Program (VWP) due to prior travel to North Korea have been rejected visas to go to the United States, NK News has learned.
After again adding North Korea to the state sponsors of terror list in 2017, the U.S. Departments of State and Homeland Security in August 2019 halted visa-free access to most foreigners who had traveled to North Korea after March 1, 2011.
