No unusual signs from North Korea amid Kim Jong Un health reports, South insists

Unification minister's remarks follow claims by top Blue House adviser that DPRK leader is "alive and well"

An extensive intelligence assessment has detected "no unusual movements" in North Korea, South Korea's Minister of Unification said Monday, amid mounting rumors that leader Kim Jong Un is suffering from ill health.

Speaking at a forum in Seoul on Monday, minister Kim Yeon-chul said that South Korea could now "confidently say" that nothing unusual was taking place in the North.
