A top North Korean foreign ministry official accepted Russia’s notice on Wednesday regarding a new donation of $4.8 million USD to improve children’s health in the DPRK, according to the Russian embassy in Pyongyang.
“A decision to sponsor the UNICEF project ‘Reduction of Child Morbidity and Mortality through Preventive and Curative Health Intervention in DPR Korea’” was reportedly handed to DPRK Ambassador-at-Large Ri Hung Sik by Russian Ambassador Alexander Matsegora.
