A spokesperson for North Korea's foreign ministry on Saturday denounced a U.S. official's recent remarks that called North Korea "a human rights violator," saying that the comment is a "grave political provocation" against the country.
The remarks, made by a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the DPRK and carried by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), comes days after the UN General Assembly (UNGA) adopted an annual resolution on Wednesday condemning the condition of human rights in North Korea.
