North Korea rejects “useless” summit with Trump until “hostile policy” dropped

Referencing Trump tweet, DPRK foreign ministry adviser rebuffs idea of giving President more to “brag” about

U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest overture to another meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was rejected as impossible until the U.S. drops its “hostile policy,” a press statement from the DPRK foreign ministry said Monday evening.

Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Kim Kye Gwan said in the statement that he “read a November 17 Twitter post by President Trump and interpreted it as hinting at a new [North] Korea-U.S. summit.”
