U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest overture to another meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was rejected as impossible until the U.S. drops its “hostile policy,” a press statement from the DPRK foreign ministry said Monday evening.
Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Kim Kye Gwan said in the statement that he “read a November 17 Twitter post by President Trump and interpreted it as hinting at a new [North] Korea-U.S. summit.”
