A new Pyongyang-Macau route operated by North Korea’s national carrier Air Koryo is yet to begin service, an airport employee told NK News on Friday, after having secured preliminary approval from local Macau authorities to begin in early August.
Speaking over the phone, an employee of Macau International Airport said that no direct flights to Pyongyang had taken place this month, and that none appeared to be scheduled.
