North Korean foreign minister Ri Yong Ho will not be attending the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York this September, multiple informed sources told NK News on Thursday.
It is not currently clear why Ri will skip participation in the annual UN event, the sources said, which if true will mark the first General Assembly he'll miss since becoming foreign minister in 2016.
