North Korea criticizes closed-door UNSC meeting, defends recent missile tests

DPRK foreign ministry issues warning to the UN, UK, France and Germany

North Korea on Friday issued a press statement criticizing a closed-door meeting of the UN Security Council (UNSC) held over the DPRK's recent weapons tests.

The statement, issued by an unnamed spokesperson of the North's foreign ministry appeared to take umbrage at the UNSC classifying the launched projectiles as "ballistic."
