Kim Jong Un delays opening of Yangdok hot springs and ski resort until December

In first economic visit since May, N. Korean leader shown resort's rapid construction over summer

In his first economic site visit in months, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced that the deadline for completing the country's newest tourist resort, the Yangdok County hot springs and ski resort, would be delayed until December, according to state media.

The ruling party daily Rodong Sinmun published details of the site visit on Saturday morning, showing the resort’s rapid construction since April has made significant progress and is in its final stages.
