News Russian deputy defense minister to discuss military cooperation in PyongyangPlanned visit follows Putin’s repeated emphasis on DPRK security guarantees
Russian deputy minister of defense Alexander Fomin will visit North Korea on a “working visit,” the ministry announced on Tuesday, without specifying the dates of his expected stay in Pyongyang. Fomin will “hold bilateral talks with the leadership” of the North Korean Ministry of People’s Armed Forces and discuss “the state and prospects of Russian-North Korean military cooperation,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
