A delegation of North Korean officials participated in an economic workshop in Vladivostok last week, where they reportedly explored the experiences of other nations’ market economic transitions and visited a number of industrial sites.
The group, led by a senior expert of the Legislation Department of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) Jon Kyong Nam, specifically requested to visit a coal and natural gas-fired power plant, one of the co-organizers of the event told NK News on Wednesday.
