South Korea’s Gyeonggi province sends $1.3 million in flour, saplings to North

Aid to help feed children, assist with reforestation

The government of South Korea's Gyeonggi province on Wednesday announced that it has sent KRW1.5 billion ($1.3 million) of flour and saplings to North Korea.

The supplies came in response to a request from the DPRK's Consultative Council for National Reconciliation (CCNR), the province said in a written statement.
