The Kaeson metro station situated near Pyongyang’s Arch of Triumph reopened on Wednesday, according to a post on social media by Koryo Tours, with the station revealed to have undergone a complete remodeling.

NK News in early April revealed the extent of exterior renovations, but it appears the work on the station involved the replacement and modernization of nearly every major element of its interior as well.

A photo obtained by NK News of the station’s facade as the final touches were being carried out by workers in April shows major structural changes to its outer walls and windows.
