No observable power shortages in Pyongyang, despite “hour-a-day” report

Situation in North Korean capital remains normal, sources insist, while some say it's improving

There are no observable power shortages in the North Korean capital city of Pyongyang, multiple foreign residents told NK News, despite a Friday report claiming "severe electricity shortages" were impacting the city.

The Seoul-based Daily NK reported Friday that a source claimed that "the worsening electricity situation means that the whole city is dark at night" with some days so bad that "electricity is only available for one hour."
