U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday nominated Admiral Harry Harris to be the U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, a diplomatic post which has remained vacant since the U.S. President took office.
Harris is the head of U.S. Pacific Command and was formally set to be the ambassador to Australia before the decision was overturned at the end of April.
