Seoul seeking partner for “confidential project” gauging N. Korean stability

South Korea plans to spend KRW302 million on DPRK Situation Index

The South Korean Ministry of Unification (MOU) plans to push ahead with a “confidential project” measuring North Korea’s likelihood of collapse and is seeking a subcontractor for the year, a bid seen by NK News shows.

The project, known as the North Korea Situation Index, was launched in 2010, and aims to “support objective analyses and predictions of the North Korea situation.”
