North Korean buses using new technology to limit oil consumption

Kim Jong Un emphasizes saving resources amid energy price increases in 2017

A Pyongyang bus business is saving at least one ton of oil each month after installing an oil saving tool on all of its vehicles, according to the Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday.

The oil saving tool installed on the Pyongyang buses is designed to save 10 to 15 percent of oil, improve the buses' engine power and combustion efficiency, and reduce the amount of exhaust gas, the article says.
