Road traffic will once again be temporarily suspended on the Sino-Korean Friendship Bridge to allow for Chinese repairs, a source confirmed to NK News on Friday, citing poor conditions on the road surface of the structure.
But while reports in Japanese media outlet the Yomiuri Shimbun suggested on Friday that access to the bridge, which was completed in 1943, had already been temporarily suspended by Chinese authorities, the source told NK News that closure dates for forthcoming works were yet to be confirmed.
