Wang Yi called on "all parties" not to escalate tensions

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi again reiterated Beijing's opposition to last week's test by North Korea of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), while urging all parties to avoid actions that may escalate tensions.

"Regarding North Korea's recent missile launch, once again in violation of UN Security Council resolutions, China has already clearly expressed our opposition," Wang reportedly said in Beijing during a press conference.
