N. Korean issue should be resolved in “peaceful and diplomatic” way: Moon

President Trump describes new UNSC resolution as "a very significant change"

South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Monday said that North Korean nuclear issue should be resolved in a “peaceful and diplomatic way”, while U.S. President Donald Trump emphasized the necessity of "strong pressure and sanctions" on Pyongyang.

Moon and Trump spoke over the phone for 56 minutes early Monday morning, sharing views on the “grave security situation on the Korean Peninsula following a series of recent provocations by North Korea," a South Korean presidential office spokesperson told media on Monday.
