Kim Jong Un on Friday supervised a military drill of DPRK special forces simulating the “occupying” of two South Korean frontline islands, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Saturday.

The military exercise – described as a “target-striking contest of the special operation forces” by state media – was staged on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the Day of Songun, which falls on August 25.
