U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson described the country’s policy towards North Korea as a pressure campaign “with a knob on it” and that the U.S. is currently at “dial setting five or six”, at a briefing with state department staff on Wednesday.
Tillerson, when speaking about elements of the campaign, revealed that the U.S. is also preparing new sanctions against North Korea should the country continue to pursue its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
