South Korean government says it will permit long-stalled inter-Korean meetings

One NGO planning to meet North Koreans in less than a month

South Korea's new government will go ahead and allow long-stalled inter-Korean private exchanges, a government official said during a Monday briefing session, a day after North Korea conducted its second successful missile test in as many weeks.

“There was a missile launch yesterday, and the new government will react firmly to the North’s provocations…,” Ministry of Unification (MoU) spokesperson Lee Duk-having said during a Monday briefing.
