Senegalese authorities are investigating a North Korean entity in order to asses whether its finances are contributing to the DPRK's nuclear program, according to the country’s implementation report for UN Security Council Resolution 2321 submitted in May.
Mansudae Overseas Project (MOP) is an entity with global operations and was sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury in 2016 - under its full name "Mansudae Overseas Project Group of Companies" - for its use of workers overseas for the purpose of generating hard currency for the government of North Korea or the Workers’ Party of Korea.
