UN says contamination of water major public health concern in DPRK

Newly-developed antibacterial water filter and purifiers are increasingly popular with North Koreans, state-run media outlet Arirang-Meari reported on Wednesday.

The government mouthpiece reported that the water problem is a “vital issue” all over the world and that demand for clean and purified water has been “rapidly increasing.”
