Chinese imports of N. Korean coal at zero for second month

Lack of coal makes a dent in the North's export revenues, though no other effects yet visible

China did not import any North Korean coal for the second straight month in April, according to recently released figures from the Beijing's customs agency cited by Reuters on Tuesday.

Imports of what was once the North's most valuable commodity are limited by UN Resolutions passed in November last year. The UN Security Council (UNSC) capped imports at 7.5 million tonnes, or just over $400,870,018 worth of coal a year.
