South Korea welcomes Trump’s “clear warning” to Kim Jong Un

First mention of North Korean nuclear issue since election, says MOFA

South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) on Tuesday praised U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's claim that the completion of North Korea's nuclear program "won't happen."

Trump on Monday said North Korea wouldn’t be able to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), a day after Kim Jong Un said the North had entered the final preparation stages for test-firing an ICBM in his annual New Year’s speech.
