North Korea’s Foreign Ministry condemns new UN sanctions

Unnamed spokesperson vows to continue along path of "self defence"

North Korea “categorically” rejects the latest UN Security Council sanctions against the country, an article published by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Thursday reported.

Resolution 2321 was passed unanimously in New York on Wednesday in response to North Korea’s fifth nuclear test, which was conducted on September 9, in breach of existing UN resolutions against the country.
