Syrian rebels claim presence of Korean officer in Aleppo

Syrian Ambassador to DPRK rejects claims, Russian ministries quiet

A Syrian rebel militia group claims it has captured a Syrian soldier in the embattled city of Aleppo who has testified to the potential presence of a North Korean military advisor on the front, a rebel news outlet announced on Wednesday last week.

The claim was made in a video published by website El Dorar that shows members of the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham group, formerly known as the Al-Nusra Front, announcing the capture.
