Swedish Ambassador to North Korea discusses U.S., Canada consular visits

North Korea responds that U.S. relations, including detainees, is handled under "wartime law"

The Swedish Ambassador to North Korea met with a DPRK official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to discuss potential consular visits for Canadian and U.S. detainees in the country, state media reported on Thursday.

According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Ambassador Torkel Stiernlöf met with the director general of the European Department two on the same day.
