S.Korea, Japan sign intelligence sharing pact against N.Korea: MND

Classified information at the level of "secret" and "confidential" will be shared

South Korea and Japan have signed a military intelligence-sharing agreement, aimed at countering North Korea’s increasing missile and nuclear threats, South Korea’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) announced on Wednesday.

South Korean Defense Minister, Han Min-koo, and Japanese Ambassador to South Korea, Yasumasa Nagamine, agreed to the General Security of Military Information Agreement (GSOMIA) in Seoul.
