New memoir says Moon Jae-in abstained from human rights resolution under pressure from DPRK

Leading presidential candidate Moon Jae-in and the late President Roh Moo-hyun abstained from a vote on a UN resolution under pressure from North Korea, a former vice foreign minister has alleged in new memoirs released October 7th.

Roh cast a blank ballot for a UN resolution condemning North Korea’s human rights situation as prime ministers of South and North Korea met in November 2007 in Seoul, Song Min-soon writes in his book “Glacier is Moving."
