Russian forces opened fire on a North Korean fishing crew, killing one and wounding eight, during an incident within Russian maritime territory on Saturday, a Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) statement said.
The vessel, identified as the “Dae Young 10", was stopped by Russian coastguards, inspected in Russia’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and was found to have “illegally obtained aquatic resources” on board.
