State Department spokesperson renews calls for release of Otto Warmbier

The United States on Wednesday called on North Korea to immediately release American university student Otto Frederick Warmbier, detained since January, on ‘humanitarian grounds’.

The call, which came in response to a question asked by a journalist at a regular press briefing, comes about two months before Presidential elections in the U.S.
