N. Korean statement takes aim at South’s conservative media

Statement from DPRK journalist union calls out S. Korean media for 200 day labor campaign coverage

A North Korean journalistic organization criticized conservative South Korean media outlets for their coverage of the country’s 200-day labor campaign, in articles published by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) and the Pyongyang Times.

A spokesperson for the North’s Central Committee of the Journalists Union of Korea issued a statement on Thursday claiming several South Korean news outlets were not accurately reporting the success of the campaign.
