North Korea calls for the “elimination” of South Korean President

Highly threatening statement issued following negative reaction to SLBM test

North Korea’s National Reconciliation Council (NRC) issued a highly threatening statement on Friday that called for the "elimination" of South Korean President Park Geun-hye and the destruction of South Korea’s presidential residence.

The comments were carried by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) in response to Park’s reaction to a Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) test conducted by the North on Wednesday.
