S.Korean opposition parties slam President’s inter-Korean policy

On 16th anniversary of 6.15 Joint Declaration, Pyongyang urges Seoul to resume dialogue

On the 16th anniversary of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, South Korea’s major opposition parties criticized President Park’s inter-Korean policy, urging Seoul to resolve its current deadlock with Pyongyang.

North Korea also released a series of articles insisting Seoul to set the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, the document signed by the former leaders of the South and the North, as the reference point for improving inter-Korean relations.

“Now is the time to reconsider whether we should neglect from holding inter-Korean dialogue, which is currently deadlocked,” Kim Jong-in, a lawmaker from the Minjoo Party saidon Wednesday, Yonhap News Agency
