UN removes four ships from newest North Korea resolution

Security Council says new measures taken to prove ships not owned by DPRK shipping company

The UN Security Council (UNSC) on Monday removed four ships from a blacklist published as part of Resolution 2270 on March 2.

Thirty-one ships were originally designated because of ties to North Korean shipping company Ocean Maritime Management (OMM), which organised weapons smuggling from Cuba in 2013.
