U.S.-based Christian organization heads for North Korea

Seoul-based humanitarian groups, Eugene Bell included, see no progress in working around sanctions

A delegation from the U.S.-based Christian Friends of Korea (CFK) organization departed for North Korea on Tuesday to confirm the arrival of shipments and prepare for future technical projects, according to a post on the organization’s Facebook page on Saturday.

The trip, led by the organization’s executive director Heidi Linton, will continue until April 2. The team is aiming to offer hepatitis B clinics in North Korea’s main cities of Kaesong and Pyongyang.
