Russian tanker visits North Korea’s Nampho port

Foreign owned tankers delivering to North Korea could indicate increasing demand

A Russian oil tanker recently arrived in North Korea’s Nampho port, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said on Monday, in what appears to be a rare delivery to North Korea from a foreign owned tanker.

The KCNA report entitled “Foreign Crewmen Meet” said that two ship’s crews had recently met in Nampho on the DPRK’s west-coast.
