S. Korean vessel damaged after collision

Ministry says inspection revealed scrapes after possible collision with North Korean ship

The South Korean ship allegedly involved in a probable collision with a DPRK fishing vessel was also damaged upon its arrival in a Taiwanese port, according to South Korea’s Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Monday published an article claiming the South Korean ship had crashed into and damaged the DPRK fishing trawler, before continuing on its course.
